(JB) Motorists who regularly use the European motorway network will have to pay more for an Austrian vignette next year.
The cost of a 2012 vignette, giving toll-free access to Austrian motorways, will rise to 77.80 euros for an annual vignette, 23.40 euros for two months and 8 euros for a 10-day pass.
Motorcyclists pay 11.70 for two months and 4.60 euros for 10 days.
The price of the Swiss vignette remains fixed at 33 euros. The tariff will remain the same for motorcyclists.
The 2012 Swiss and Austrian vignettes are available from December 1, at ACL outlets in Bertrange and Diekirch. They are valid for 14 months from December 1, 2011 until January 31, 2013. The 2011 vignette expires on January 31, 2012.
