A former footballer for Luxembourg's national team has been sentenced to six years in prison for fraud.
The accused sportsman reportedly embezzled nearly three million euros from customer accounts between 2007 and 2011.
Two other defendants were acquitted of the charges at the Luxembourg courts.
The defendant, a former footballer for the Luxembourg national team, was issued a six year sentence with one year suspended.
