Party-goers got into the groove for a good cause when they attended the Rose of Tralee Boogie Nights on Saturday.
Flares, funky platform shoes and psychedelic shirts were all the rage at Irish Bar The Black Stuff where a huge marquee had been set up to host the event.
The Rose of Tralee in Luxembourg is an Irish Association which organises an annual ball to select a Rose to represent Luxembourg in competition in Tralee, Ireland.
Geoff Thomson, of the Irish Club, told wort.lu/en: “So many people put so much effort into dressing up and having a good night on Saturday. After all it's ultimately for charity and for supporting the Rose of Tralee in Luxembourg."
Next year the ball will be held earlier than usual, on March 10, because Luxembourg's finalist candidate will have to attend the semi finals in Ireland.
About four out of the seven contestants due to compete for the role of Rose of Luxembourg attended Saturday's party.
