(ADW) Will the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette face a new infrastructure or a new site? These ideas were discussed at the CHEM staff meeting after a speech by the Director, Dr. Michael Nathan.
The current infrastructure as it stands, does not meet the requirements of modern medicine. This is especially in regards to its position in the Greater Region and keeping its independence. This is according to Dr. Nathan, the board of directors, the medical profession, the delegation of personnel and also the communes concerned all recognising the need for change.
The information was confirmed by Esch Deputy Mayor Lydia Mutsch and her counterpart from Dudelange, Alex Bodry. The report is currently in the hands of the government. As to where the new site could be, has not been mentioned.
