One more chance to do your Christmas shopping

Not made a start on your Christmas shopping yet? Fear not, this Sunday residents will have an extra chance to buy gifts when shops around the country open.

The exceptional opening day applies to stores in Beckerich/Oberpallen, Bertrange, Capellen, Clervaux, Diekirch, Differdange, Dudelange, Echternach, Erpeldange, Esch/Alzette, Esch/Belval, Foetz/Mondercange, Grevenmacher, Hesperange, Hosingen, Howald, Ingeldorf, Kirchberg, Leudelange, Luxembourg City, Mersch, Mondorf-les-Bains, Munshausen/Marnach, Sandweiler, Strassen, Walferdange, Weiswampach/Wemperhart, Winseler/Pommerloch and Wormeldange.

Opening hours vary depending on location but most shops will open from 2pm until 6pm. Auchan shopping centre in Kirchberg opens from 9am until 7pm, Belval Plaza from 10am until 6pm and Belle Etoile and Concorde in Bertrange will open from 10am until 7pm.

Stores will also be open in Luxembourg on December 18. Opening times vary.
