A trusting car owner who left their keys in the vehicle to collect something from the house, returned to find her car had been stolen.
An hour later, the car was found burned-out over the border in France.
The motorist saw the vehicle being driven away from outside the home in Route de Longwy, Rodange, at around 7am on Saturday.
At around 8am, police found the badly burned vehicle in Mont Saint Martin.
