(ADW) According to recent reports, Richard Forson is now the new Cargolux CFO. Forson has held the same position for several years at Qatar Airways. The Arab Airlines holds 35 percent of Cargolux's capital helping them to vote in the new manager.
Meanwhile, David Arendt will focus on his General Director role of the new free trade zone at Luxembourg Airport which he had held since November.
The company’s General Director Frank Reimen always assured that the entry of Qatar Airways into Cargolux affairs would not change things much. This latest move, however, suggests that the new investors are willing to become involved in the internal affairs of Europe's largest cargo airline. The new CFO will probably help, Cargolux to manoeuvre out of the red.
It was at the beginning of December the airline lost another manager: Robert van de Weg was sentenced to a 13-month prison sentence in the United States for price-fixing.
