A young man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed during a scuffle on Christmas eve.
The man was reportedly fighting with a second person in the streets of Aspelt, close to Mondorf-les-Bains, on Saturday afternoon when one of the two pulled a knife to defend themselves.
During a scuffle, the knife became embedded in the head and chest of the other man. The victim was taken to hospital and his assailant fled the scene.
He was later traced by police who have opened an investigation.
