(CS) Some 1.79 million passengers travelled via Findel in 2011, estimates Luxairport chief Ferdinand Brisbois, while cargo turnover decreased.
The Luxair Tours holiday booking service is thought to have added to the rise in passenger numbers in 2011 while the rainy summer led to an increase in holidaymakers opting for southern holiday destinations. Additionally, Mr Brisbois said that business travel had picked up again.
