Police say that a young Luxembourgish student found dead in a forest in Belgium on Thursday night may have killed himself.
The body of Olivier D, 26, was found in woodland in Boisfort, in the Soignes district south of Brussels. The young man had been studying a master's degree in Management in Louvain but went missing on Wednesday.
On Thursday night, his car was found by a passerby in Boisfort containing the late student's identity cars and phone. A search team composed of 50 police officers with dogs combed the wooded area until the man's body was found. According to RTL info, there were no signs of violence on the body. Belgian press group Sudpresse suggest that the young man had depressive tendencies. However, relatives have denied this.
RTL News recently reported that five years ago Olivier fell from the sixth storey of a building in Ixelles. It said that Olivier claimed he was pushed but that the police suspected a failed suicide attempt.
