(ADW) A technical problem regarding the flaps of a Luxair Boeing 737-700 in Fuerteventura on Sunday meant that aeroplane remained firmly on the ground affecting 116 passengers. Normally the flight would have been bound for Porto on Sunday but the first time flight LG 3761 will be able to take off will be Monday.
As the replacement part needed to repair the aircraft flap fault was not available at Fuerteventura Airport, another “Luxair Boeing 737 from Luxembourg has taken off with technicians and the replacement part in question on board”, explained Luxair in a statement on Sunday.
