(CS) Police arrested four suspects in a violent robbery on board a train after a surveillance tape showing some of the culprits was made public.
It was the first time that the police decided to publish CCTV material, leading to a number of hints from the public as to the identity of the criminals.
The video from December 14, 2011 showed several teenagers engaged in an argument with a fellow passenger on a train between Luxembourg and Rodange. The man was then beaten up and robbed, and left unconscious on the floor.
Shortly after the incident the police arrested one culprit, and was able to identify five others following the publication of the video, with four further arrests.
