A five-year-old girl was seriously injured by a falling tree in Urspelt on Saturday while watching her father at work in the forest.

(ADW) A five-year-old girl was seriously injured by a falling tree in Urspelt near Clervaux on Saturday while watching her father at work in the forest.
The accident occurred in a near-by forest while the father was occupied attempting to cut down a tree.
The tree fell, hitting the little girl and throwing her to the ground. She suffered a fractured pelvis and two broken legs from the accident, although police state that her condition is not life-threatening.
The girl was rushed to hospital by emergency services where a full diagnostic took place. Her condition is described as stable.
