Improving employability in Luxembourg's commerce sector

(CS) The Fit4Commerce initiative will aim to place 500 job seekers in the commerce and retail sector until the end of the year, with further placements in 2013.
Together with various industry players, including Auchan, Cactus, Cora and Delhaize, as well as the employment agency ADEM, the Luxembourg School for Commerce, the Luxembourg commerce confederation (clc) and the Institut Universitaire International Luxembourg (IUIL), the employment ministry has devised a new scheme to assess job seekers, offer training and find long-term employment solutions in the commerce sector.
