Luxembourg finance jobs rise, but credit jobs fall

(ADW) The number of employees recorded working in Luxembourg’s credit institutions on December 31, 2011 was 26,695. That means a reduction in 114 jobs within three months, according to provisional Luxembourg Central Bank figures (BCL) released on Monday.
Despite the decrease in employees, the number of credit companies increased during the same time by one. 46 financial institutions actually increased staff by 1-39 employees and 48 companies reduced their staff by 1-68 employees.
