There may not be any snow or ski runs in Luxembourg but that doesn't stop one of its cultural organisations celebrating in true Après Ski style.
The Luxembourg Rose of Tralee is helping residents shake off the winter chill and raise money for good causes with a night of cheesy Après Ski tunes.
The event, to be held on February 3 at The Tube, is the perfect opportunity for even the worst skiers to look their best in goggles and salopettes and dance the night away.
Prizes will be issued for the best dressed après skier and there will be a chance to buy schnapps from this year's stunning Rose of Tralee competition candidates. The Après Ski Party is one of a handful of social events organised by the Luxembourg Rose of Tralee to raise funds for not-for-profit organisations. Last year some 4,500 euros were distributed among six charities, including Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner and Mary's Meals.
Following the Après Ski Party, the next major event in the Rose calendar will be the Luxembourg Rose of Tralee Ball on March 10. The night, hosted at the Royal Hotel, in Luxembourg city, will see one lucky candidate chosen to go through to the next round of the International Competition celebrating Irishness.
