(ADW) A massive cylinder of steel was “piped-in” to Luxembourg on Sunday causing major traffic problems in Kayl near Esch.
120 tonnes of steel pipe slowly made its way on the back of a huge track over the border from France under police escort.
Crossing the border at Rumlange, the convoy made its way Tetange before the colossal load headed for Kayl where is began to face a few difficulties.
The narrow and winding streets of little Kayl proved a major challenge for massive truck and load as it agonisingly negotiated bends and junctions, causing considerable delays to traffic.
The large load then continued its journey towards Noertzange, but what the big metal pipe was actually for has not been reported.
