Luxembourg Red Cross hotline celebrates 1st anniversary

(ADW) Housing problems, financial issues child care, or psychological distress: where should you turn to? At the other end of the hotline 2755, the Red Cross has been answering phones now for exactly one year. Telephone support is offered to the general public seven days a week from 7am until 10pm providing accurate information regarding health and social services to both public and private residents in Luxembourg.
A telephone chat is used to analyse the caller's situation and direct them to the service that can respond to their issue, whether it be the Red Cross or not. This sees an end to long waiting times on the phone, or multiple calls to find the right person, or even unnecessary travel to an inappropriate organisation.
