(CS) The ongoing minus temperatures are having a significant impact on the construction sector with many building sites lying idle, with Roland Kuhn, President of the Chamber of Crafts saying profits might soon be nothing but a “Fata Morgana.“

Buildings materials such as plaster, cement or concrete are more or less unusable, as they are water-based mixtures. Additionally, security poses a problem, with an increased risk of accidents due to icy patches on construction sites.
