Decline in smokers in Luxembourg

Around 22% of Luxembourg's population smoke, with a vast majority of both smokers and non-smokers saying they are bothered by passive smoking, a study commissioned by the Fondation Cancer found.

(CS) Around 22% of Luxembourg's population smoke, with a vast majority of both smokers and non-smokers saying they are bothered by passive smoking, a study commissioned by the Fondation Cancer found.

Numbers of smokers have declined steadily since 2003, when the levels were at 33%. Of those who smoked, 17% identified themselves as daily smokers.
