(CS) A traveller from Lisbon who was carrying 574 grams of cocaine was intercepted by customs officials at Findel airport on Saturday.
Police announced that the man had swallowed 50 plastic parcels filled with cocaine, worth an estimated 50,000 euros on the market.
The cocaine parcels were removed under supervision of a doctor, and the man was brought to Schrassig prison.
The drugs department of the criminal police has opened an investigation.
