(CS) After disregaring a stop sign, a car collided first with another car and then with a road sweeping vehicle, on the route between Reckange and Brouch.
As wort.lu found out on the scene, the driver of a white Peugeot had turned onto the N8 around 11.30am without waiting at a stop sign. This resulted in a crash with an oncoming car. The Peugeot then also crashed into a road sweeping vehicle.
The other car involved in the accident hit a rock by the road side and came to a halt in an adjoining forest.
Two people were lightly injured. A child in the oncoming vehicle and the driver of the road sweeper were unharmed.
A helicopter of the AirRescue was on the scene.
Due to clean-up works the route was closed for around an hour, and reopened to traffic around 12.45pm.
