(ADW) This and next weekend, expect disruption on the A4 motorway as a section of it will be closed to traffic for work to be carried out on a railway bridge.
For 24 hours from 8am on Saturday February 25 until Sunday at 8am, the A4 will be closed between the Merl roundabout and the Croix de Cessange junction.
The two feeding slip roads between the A6 and A4, from Arlon and the Croix de Gasperich towards the A4 motorway towards Hollerich will also be closed. Traffic will be diverted to the city centre via the A6 and then A3 towards the Gluck roundabout.
The following weekend from March 3 to 4 at the same times, will see the same disruptions but in the opposite direction. This means the A4 will be closed from March 3 to March 4, between Merl roundabout and Croix de Cessange. This time the diversion will take you from Hollerich via Route d'Esch to the Cloche d'Or, then towards Leudelange to rejoin the A4 motorway at junction 1 in Leudelange.
Work needed to be carried out on the train bridge that passes over the A4, is the reason for the motorway closure for the next 2 weekends.
