An adult and a baby were injured during a violent collision on Saturday evening.
According to police, a motorist was travelling along from Wiltz towards Pommerloch at around 8.45pm when a vehicle crashed into the rear.
The force of the hit caused the first car to be thrown into a nearby ditch meanwhile the second car was propelled into the opposite lane. A woman and a baby travelling in the first vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
The driver responsible for the accident was found to be over the legal alcohol limit for driving. His licence was confiscated.
