A speeding motorist who attempted to flee the police in Belgium was eventually tracked in Luxembourg on Saturday night.
Luxembourg police received a call from the Belgian police at around 8.45pm asking to watch out for a German-registered BMW 3 Series.
The car had reportedly been seen driving at 200 km per hour but Belgian police had been unable to catch the driver.
Police in Luxembourg were then able to trace the vehicle to the A6 motorway in Mamer where officers overtook and stopped the driver.
A subsequent vehicle search found 400 grams of marijuana and hashish. The driver and a passenger, who are both German nationals, were arrested.
