A spokesman of the Dutch court has confirmed that the visit of Queen Beatrix to Luxembourg from March 20 to 22 will go ahead as planned, despite Prince Friso's severe accident three weeks ago.

(CS) A spokesman of the Dutch court has confirmed that the visit of Queen Beatrix to Luxembourg from March 20 to 22 will go ahead as planned, despite Prince Friso's severe accident three weeks ago.

The 74-year-old monarch had cancelled all official engagements until March 5 following Friso's tragic accident in Austria. Beatrix is set to resume her first public appearance on Wednesday, opening new military barracks in Soesterberg, close to Utrecht.
