(CS) Only 2% of Luxembourg residents had a holiday at home in the Grand Duchy in 2011, well below the EU average of 56%, according to the latest Eurobarometer study on Attitudes of Europeans Towards Tourism.
A vast majority (93%) replied that they spend their holidays in other EU countries. With a large percentage of foreign nationals, it may not be surprising that 26% stated they visited friends or relatives on their holiday.
