(ADW) As part of the redevelopment of the Cessange park, the City of Luxembourg will begin preparations this week for a complete revamp of the area. This in alliance with the Ministry of Environment includes cutting down trees no longer in good health and could affect the growth of other vegetation.
In a second step, weather conditions permitting, park redevelopment work will begin with the aim of making it look more natural especially at its boundaries. In addition, the playground located in rue Ausone will be completely replaced. This means that both an area of the park and the playground will be closed to the public and for the duration of the work until autumn 2012.
