Brazil canyon theatre designed by Luxembourg architect
Luxembourg architect François Valentiny, designer of the Grand Duchy's Shanghai expo pavilion, is tackling another unusual project - an amphitheatre in a Brazilian canyon, 1,500 kilometres away from Rio de Janeiro.
(FeMo/CS) Luxembourg architect François Valentiny, designer of the Grand Duchy's Shanghai expo pavilion, is tackling another unusual project - an amphitheatre in a Brazilian canyon, 1,500 kilometres away from Rio de Janeiro.
The open-air auditorium will give room for up to 864 visitors and a stage for 95 musicians, “bringing culture and music to the jungle,” as Valentiny says.
