(CS) In 2011 London-born musician Elliot Gleave, aka Example, skyrocketed to fame in the UK. In 2012 he plans to release a new album, and tour the UK, the US and Europe, with a stop in Luxembourg’s Atelier on March 16.
It’s hard to put a label on the 29-year-old’s style, and critics place him anywhere between rap, hip hop, dub step, dance and rave. “I don’t rap that much anymore,” says Example himself in an interview with wort.lu/en. Instead, he’s taken to “dance music, fundamentally, but with a rock sensibility.”
