The latest of the MET screenings, Verdi's Ernani will see Angela Meade and Salvatore Licitra in the leading roles, with Dmitri Hvorotovsky and Ferruccio Furlanetto rounding off the cast. Based on a novel by Victor Hugo, the opera follows noble outcast Ernani on a mission of revenge to gain back his lover Elvira out of the clutches of Duke Silva.
