(CS) The European Commission has ruled that the residence clause for student loans and child support breaches EU regulation and has summoned Luxembourg to put an end to the discrimination of cross-border workers.
The ruling comes after several complaints were filed following the 2010 law change, making it necessary for parents to be residents of the Grand Duchy in order for their children to receive higher education benefits.
