1,012 daily addicts use 'Fixerstuff' centre

“Abrigado”, the organisation that helps drug addicts, currently plays host daily to 1,012 addicts who use the injecting rooms at the "Fixerstuff" centre. Drugs used are mostly heroin, cocaine or a mixture of two.

According to information from Jean Colombera (ADR) in 2005, 77,500 syringes were distributed to ‘clients’ at the former Tox-In centre. In 2011, this figure rose to 216,500, which corresponds to an average of 600 syringes distributed per day.
