The 10th edition of Central and Eastern European films comes to a close on Sunday.

This weekend is your last chance to
view one of the CinEast film festival screenings.
The 10th edition of Central
and Eastern European films comes to a close on Sunday. Two films will
be screened at Cinémathèque on Saturday – Polish film The Fastest
(Najlepszy)and
Slovenian/Croatian drama Perseverance (Vztrajanje).
The closing event also takes place on
Saturday evening, at Melusina, where Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra and
DJ Don Simon will play for an evening of Balkan music and Jamaican
ska.
Four films will be screened at
Cinémathèque on Sunday, including a Czech animated film for
children (Le Voyage de Tom Pouce), a Ukrainian romance drama
(Falling) and Hungary's 1945.
At 8.30pm on Sunday the Grand Prix winner, selected by an international jury, will
be screened.
The last film to be shown at
Neimënster this year will be Poland's The Art of Loving at 6.30pm on
Sunday.
The festival, which started on October
5, offered films from 19 countries as well as visits from special
guests such as directors, actors and producers.
