The Grand Duchy is not immune to this growing phenomenon of human trafficking across Europe and with that in mind, the government has launched an awareness campaign this month alerting residents to the problem.
According to recent reports, it is estimated that between eight and 12 people are trafficked each year in or through Luxembourg, an increase on previous estimations.
