(AFP) - Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel said Britain cannot "have its cake and eat it" and ruled out any transitional Brexit deal with the EU if negotiations are not completed in two years.
As the British government distanced itself from a memo including the aim to have the best of both worlds, Bettel told stated in an interview that Britain could not pick and choose what it wanted.
