PM Bettel denies accusations, Lunghi presses charges against RTL

PM Bettel denied accusations of prejudging the Mudam director in a parliamentary commission meeting while Lunghi has announced that he will be pressing charges against RTL for defamation.

(sth) – The events initially dubbed the “Lunghi affair” have evolved into the probably more accurate RTL/Lunghi/Bettel affair.

After RTL aired an interview with MUDAM director Enrico Lunghi, in which he reacted angrily to a question by a reporter, Prime Minister Bettel initiated a disciplinary procedure against Lunghi, who is also a public servant.
