(ml/sth) – Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel earns a yearly income of approximately 311,000 euros, according to news site 24/7 WallSt, which compiled a list of the world's top earning politicians. Luxembourg's Prime Minister comes in seventh place of this list.

At a gross salary of about 24,000 euros per month, Xavier Bettel is leading among Luxembourg's politicians. Gross salaries of his fellow Ministers amount to around 17,000 euros per month. Members of Parliament are paid 6,600 euros per month, excluding allowances.
