Luxembourg Prime Minister visits Singapore to strengthen bilateral relations

Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel went on a working visit to Singapore on Tuesday in order to meet his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong in a bid to strengthen bilateral ties.

(STH) - Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel went on a working visit to Singapore on Tuesday, November 15, in order to meet his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong in a bid to strengthen bilateral political and economic ties.

Bettel expressed his conviction that both countries have a lot in common, being small nations with big ambitions. He attributed particularly strong ties to commercial relations and financial services, but also to logistics, the ICT sector and research and development.
