Looking back to the future in Luxembourg
Brazilian musician Gregorio Entringer returned to his Luxembourgish roots to pursue his music career. He tells Wort.lu/en about coming back to the place his ancestors left over 150 years ago.
(JB) For half of his life Brazilian musician Gregorio Entringer thought he was descended from German immigrants who settled in Santa Leopoldina over 150 years ago.
It was only in 2002 he learned that he had Luxembourgish heritage. A year ago, he retraced the journey made by his great, great, great, great-grandfather, albeit by plane, to pursue his career in Luxembourg.
