First snow in Luxembourg by the middle of the week

Last weekend's announced snow in the northern parts of Luxembourg were the first signs of what the country could be expecting in the coming days. The temperatures on Monday will not climb above 5°C during the whole day.

The sky will stay covered and alternate between rain showers and some lighter moments throughout the day.

Tuesday and Wednesday, you can start getting your winter clothing ready, as Météolux is announcing snow as well as temperatures dropping below 0°C. In the higher altitudes a snow cover of 1-2 cm can be expected before the precipitations will transform into a mix of snow and mainly rain over the whole country during the day. Don't forget to prepare your car for these changing conditions with the appropriate tyres.

The temperatures will rise slightly again by Thursday, reaching about 7°C and again bringing some rain.

Friday should prove to be the nicest day of the week, allowing for some sun rays passing through the cloud cover. Rain is still not to be excluded though, with wet weather announced for the weekend.
