A Luxembourg ultralite pilot had a lucky escape when a wing of his aircraft suddenly broke off causing it to plummet and crash into trees, leaving him trapped 20 metres from the ground.

his aircraft suddenly broke off causing it to plummet and crash into trees,
leaving him trapped 20 metres from the ground.
The incident occurred at about 4:15pm on Saturday near Idar-Oberstein
over the border in Germany after the ultralite had just taken off from Göttschied airfield.
