Almost half of unaccompanied minors who applied for asylum in Luxembourg this year have disappeared, the Foreign Affairs Minister has revealed.

(JB) Almost half of unaccompanied minors who applied for
asylum in Luxembourg this year have disappeared, the Foreign Affairs
Minister has revealed.
Out of 83 declared unaccompanied minors who began proceedings to apply for international protection between January 1, and September 30, 2016, only 39 applications were retained by the ministry. A further 37 applicants disappeared shortly after making their application.
