The case of a tragic road accident that resulted in the death of woman on the A1 motorway towards Trier last year, was heard in Luxembourg court on Monday with a swift sentence handed out to the accused driver.
The incident occurred on June 8, 2015 near the Potashberg exit. A car travelling at high speed ploughed into a roadworks site, and crashed with fore into a safety barrier, killing the woman passenger.
