A large-scale inspection operation took place at the Aire de Capellen on the A6 motorway on Friday evening in the direction of Luxembourg, with aim of tackling crime at the service station.
A large-scale inspection operation took place at the Aire de Capellen on the A6 motorway on Friday evening in the direction of Luxembourg, with aim of tackling crime at the service station.
Suspicious people and their vehicles were therefore subject to immediate and extensive inspections by police. Officials from SIS (Systems d'Information Schengen) were also present which meant that personal data could be checked and verified in real time.
