By the end of the year
Luxembourg's new wind farm in Weiler will be operational and
connected to the national grid. Until then, wings, towers, and other
parts are gradually being shipped to the Grand Duchy from Denmark.
The huge parts that
make up the windmills arrive at the port of Mertert in the east of
the country before being transported on special large trucks, some of
them 68 metres in length, to the north of the country and their new
home of Weiler, just north of Vianden.
