What happened to the Gaalgebierg toboggan run project?
Two years ago the idea was raised of creating an all-year round dry toboggan run down the side of “Gaalgebierg” hill that rises above Esch-sur-Alzette but since then not a word. So what’s going on with the project now?
(LE/ADW) It was two years ago someone had the bright idea of creating a dry toboggan run that could be used all-year round, down the side of “Gaalgebierg” hill that rises above Esch-sur-Alzette. There was a bit of hype about it at the time but since then, not a word. So what’s going on with the project now? Luxemburger Wort decided to investigate.
The idea known as a “summer toboggan” run was met positively at the time during a town council meeting in 2014.
