2 more weeks in Luxembourg school calendar "unfavourable", says CNEL
The new school year heading into 2017 will be extended by two weeks to students attending the first class and the last year of high school, but it is criticised by the Student Council CNEL.
The new school year heading into 2017 will be extended to students attending the first class and the last year of high school, according to an agreement signed in July 2015 between the government and teachers' unions.
Two weeks more of classes have been added to student study programmes for those concerned. Students will have just days between the end of classes and the first scheduled exam.
