In
October, the Twinerg power plant in Esch-sur-Alzette will be decommissioned,
however no social plan has been drawn up for the 16 remaining
employees, which the OGBL union says is "completely unacceptable.”
The owners
of the plant, Electrabel, Enovos and ArcelorMittal, had been playing
for time and hoping that the employees would terminate their
employment there under their own initiative, therefore making a social
plan superfluous. This is an “attitude” that OGBL totally objects
to.
