Luxembourg City underestimated student numbers
There was much criticism by the opposition in the Luxembourg City town hall meeting on Monday surrounding the extra 2.4 million euro cost of a new school annex in Kirchberg, the additional space needed by the school on Rue Anne Beffort.
There was much criticism by the opposition in Luxembourg City town hall meeting on Monday surrounding the extra 2.4 million euro cost of a new school annex in Kirchberg, the additional space needed by the school on Rue Anne Beffort.
According to MP Colette Mart, the original number of pupils was underestimated, not just in Kirchberg but around the city, and therefore costs and building work was adjusted to meet student needs for the next five to ten years. This was mainly for Kirchberg and Cessange districts.
